All spectacular shots, but the first is a veritable feast for the eye (and how interesting that the blue reflected in the water is much darker than the sky!)
I feel jealous! I can't believe that you're already getting these colours. Autumn arrived today, I can confirm. The temperature's dropped considerably in the last few hours, but still no signs of the same beautiful foliage your photos show. Many thanks. That was a strikingly gorgeous post.
Just a moment ago I wrote in another comment that I need more laughter and here I come to get another portion of it right away. It may sound really silly but I was repeating your little colourful poem aloud laughing at the last verse repeatedly, thank you so much! :)
Ooooh! I was really surprised to find that some leaves there have already turned colors. They are so beautiful. I love the reflections on the pond. The last photo is so lovely!! The air is crisp today here but yesterday it was as hot as in August.
Beautiful scenes and refractions, Sarah. Fall color looks pretty drab here so far in Bluff Country. Spring was awful and summer droughty. In a word , a crummy 2013...:(
Lovely photos, as always, Sarah and the words were almost a Haiku.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful water reflections and shadows Sarah! There is something quite zen and wonderful about the last one with your dog.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the best time of year?!
ReplyDeleteI so love the fall colors in New England.
ReplyDeleteLovely captures!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love that you got the dog mid-jump.
ReplyDeletelove a perfect day. so does my soul.
ReplyDeleteAs I took in the first photo, I hoped you would say that you were inspired to paint. How could you not be? Simply serene and beautiful.
