Reading in my hammock, under a canopy of gold,
Wearing flannel shirts without jackets,
Picking apples with my daughter,
Shopping at the farmers' market,
Brilliant maples at Bowdoin College
(my husband's lecture hall)
Painting en plein air at Lookout Point,
Bird watching on Seawall Beach
Hiking safely at Morse Mountain (before deer hunting season)
The most gorgeous place in October! Enjoy!

Great photos and I loved that phrase, canopy of gold. Nicely put. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
You live in a stunning corner of the world, and document it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the perfect setting for the story that is your life :)

ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful! One of these Octobers I'm going to make it to Maine!
ReplyDeleteAll, thank you!
ReplyDeleteCosmo, welcome to my blog! I enjoyed the gorgeous photos on your blog too.
Rose, do come visit!
Life is good. Although we've only been to Maine twice my memories and your scenes often refresh my conclusion that it is a State very much like home here in Minnesota....:)
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow. Those photos are brilliant. I love the clarity and color. Feels like I had a quick trip to Maine.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for dropping by. I hope I get back in the swing soon, because I miss my blogging friends.
Thank you for the comment and the connection too!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are stunning btw; reminds me I need to invest in a big girl camera badly. My iphone is good, but it does not capture the crispness of colors.
These are wonderful photos! Nothing better than a day with a daughter!
ReplyDeleteI love this, as well as "Autumn Seduction" below. You have such a gift with poetic words and beautiful photography.
