Happy Halloween from Maine!

Pumpkin Graveyard at Rocky Ridge Orchard.

Remember, remember to wear don't-shoot-me orange in November!

Happy Halloween to you, too, Sarah! Orange is a good color for the season for several reasons, as you've noted.

Yes indeed. We have to wear it all winter on our land but any hunter that shoots at a person should not be hunting-safety orange or not! Happy Halloween!

How sad. A pumpkin graveyard. Good reminder about wearing orange though I stay out of the woods in deer hunting season, for sure...:)

Yikes - that would be a bit unnerving to have to worry about being shot at while hiking! Better to be safe than sorry for sure. Happy Halloween and Samhain wishes~

Cute picture of you! The Pumpkin Graveyard- never heard of that. Do they have random pumpkins growing the following year?

kacky, you might call it a compost heap.

All, thanks, my husband took that photo of me on our last hike before deer hunting season. If we walk this weekend, it will be at the beach.
