A new puppy in our family

Yuki and Scout

Yuki is a Coton de Tuléar and won't get much bigger. Her name means snow in Japanese, which is my sister-in-law's nationality. She met my brother when he was working overseas. They moved to the USA after they got married. My niece and nephew taught me that kawaii means cute. They are delighted with their new pet.

I definitely don't have baby pangs but puppy pangs? Every time I see one, no matter what the breed.

Very, very kawaii! :-) Even the word in Japanese is cute. Many thanks.

May the friendship continue!

The photo aptly describes the relationship between a dog who is already settled in one's household and a new puppy, curious and trying to be friends. :)

I guess you'll have lots of fun with Yuki and Scout!

adorable. i love the way scout appears - just a tiny bit - on alert at the presence of a new dog. but i'm sure her mothering instincts will be coming to the fore as well.

.... and Yuki does look like a a small hill of snow flakes collected in a child's hand :-)
